There is something purely magical about this trees on a misty day .
And your processing makes it look even more so.
The magnolias around here dropped their blooms a couple of weeks ago.
On the pavement, they made for a slippery mess.
Our neighbors have a different species of magnolia that puts out just a few blossoms, but continuously nearly all summer long. I swear I'll actually get a shot of one of the magnifecent flowers this year.
I really like the balance in this image.
I keep thinking how different this scene would be if captured by my IR camera! not nearly as romantic as your image.

Tom, I think IR could have worked but not as well since all the grass would have turned white , negating glow in the petals on the ground.
