The Buy and sell forum needs a filter to cancel out sellers without previous buying/selling experience. Im not saying all of them are scammers but I refuse to take my chances with them and have seen way to many. Either that or B&S needs a buy before you sale policy...

Indeed, Nathan, there appears to have been recently an onslaught of "no name, no feedback, no posts, no website, not nothing" Sellers who are advertising high dollar items for sale as their first post, or announcing 100% feedback on eBay and their sales there are all rolls of toilet paper; or, indeed, even here, where they make a big deal out of hundreds of postive feedbacks selling batteries
End of the day, though, you and I are the filter. I sorta like to post a response to their ad asking "who, who, who r u" and sometimes that produces some really good info, like a seller couple months ago who had exquisite feedback on a high-end audio site www.audiogon.com where one item sold would be the equivalent of 5 Nikon 800e's, but who didn't know the rules of the road here. Great guy!!
So, again, it's our job to be the filter. Just my .02 which ain't much

Articulate response and I totally agree! Also agree with poster below yours about, You have to start somewhere.
But it all boils down to you and I on B&S.
