I like the image. The abstract interplay of straight lines and curves provide an overall conflicting balance to the viewer while the processing invites a closer inspection of the minute details.
The only thing that will improve this image is to crop three stairs off the bottom.
Sam, many thanks for the comments. my eyes see the world in 35mm vision and hence never square. but you (and Douglas) might be right that this image should be cropped. I'll get out the saw!

Not too simple at all, Tom.
A very likable image all 'round.
My only nit is not really a nit. Because it's a vertical shot I have to scroll to see it- and I can never get a true sense of an image when I have to scroll it.
My guess is that there are several promising crops you might choose: and each would be different but probably not any better.
More than most- I think this is a matter of trying several crops and picking the one YOU like best.
