What do you recommend as the minimal set of ND filter(s) for general purpose use?

Thanks,

Bob

um, kind of depends on what you want to do w/ them? I assume you're talking standard ND's (vs. Graduated NDs)? Are you shooting on the beach and want large aperture? trying to make water 'flow' ??

I have a 4 stop, a variable ND (Tiffen 77) and of course, you can use a polarizer as a poor man's ND.

Hmm, yes more information would help - landscapes, and projected use for streams and waterfalls...
