Not sure it would be worth it. It's a very weak shot comparatively and really doesn't belong with the rest. Here is some CC on the others...
1) Great shot.
2) Good, but we have some BG issues in the worst possible spot that interfere with the ball.
3) The defender on the right has a hacked stick and so, consequently, doesn't add to the shot. Busy BG
5) Good
6) Fair. The ball is too far away and the cars in the BG and overcast sky wash out the shot.
7/8) Also fair. Not for any reason other than you have stronger images in the series, so this becomes somewhat of an anticlimax. You had me at hello (shot #1). The others pale in comparison.
1. Your best shot. Makes a strong statement.
2. A clean, crisp shot. Too lateral for me without a defenders face/front side. The bg is distracting.
3. The defender on the right should be cropped out. (If he were all there) he still should be cropped out as he too far away to the ball carrier. Distracting bg again.
4. I don't like at all. Nothing exciting happening in the capture.
5. A clean crisp shot. The fight over the recovery of a loose ball side view is tough for me to appreciate. Sometimes the shot is more dynamic when taken from the front.
6. Could be A nice. I probably would like more if the ball were not in the picture.
7-8. Both are well taken but the action in both is very passive.
Overall, the shots are well taken. Sometimes the action is too close to the sidelines which magnifies the bgs. I try to avoid taking that shot or at least posting that type of shot. You want your subjects close to one another, 99% of the time the ball is a must.
Ted
Thx so much guys! I tried to add some more O vs. D as per last feedback. Cropping the right sided player on #3 I think will really help that image, thx Ted! And its pretty fair to say that #4 goes to the trash pile. This school in particular doesnt has the best BG. 1 local field plays some of their LAX in the woods and its makes the BG super clean and nice. Thx again all!
It's tough shooting for your son or daughter. The kids don't care about the back ground as long as there in it and they have something to remember. Try going to a LAX game where you don't know the teams.

I shot my daughter 8-years playing LAX. and have been shooting my son 10+ years playing baseball. It's tougher for me to sit in the stands than to photograph them in their sports. It really is easy to shoot a game of LAX and not know a single player on either team.

it's true, you get different photos if you don't know anyone on the team vs. tracking and photographing primarily one person.
