I used to be riskier with my detail shots, until I almost lost the rings down a water wheel. I had them on a branch of a bush (at night), the wind blew them off and they began rolling towards the water wheel. Thankfully they didn't roll off and I returned them safe. Since then I take minimal risks and always check to see if anything could get lost or damaged. I've never been so freaked out at a wedding!
I was extremely careful with this shot. I tied the dress to the hanger with ribbon, then tied the hanger to the rail with two loops of ribbon. I wasn't about to be "the guy who ruined the wedding".
Good job Mr. Colman. Yes, that is brave. I like to push the envelope but I think I would've chickened out on this one.
out of curiousity, was that the best angle? I feel like the angle is cool but I almost want to see a little more of the front of the dress. I'm just nit pickin
