Someone on the other fe thread said they lost the MA of the lens that was on the camera at the time but all others were fine .
Probably best to note them down before . Intact it's best practice to have them noted down anyway .
And it would be a good idea to check them after just in case the firmware changes things

On mine, I updated with the lens and it wiped it out. Then I MA'ed again and reflashed without the lens on. MA stayed. So not sure.

Just remove the lens, put the body cap on and update.

Just write down your MA values and do the firmware. What is the big deal? If it wipes it out, put the values back.

I upgraded 2 bodies, each with only body cap/no lens. All settings remained (MA, all settings on all menus, C1/C2/C3).
