It almost felt a little bit like spring today (after the morning rain finished and the afternoon rain began)
The weevil is Dorytomus longimanus I think, but very soon after emerging to have the scales on the prothorax.
The caddis fly is just there as an example of the vaguely weird .. not sure which one yet.
The moth is a very clean latticed heath and the butterfly is also a very fresh map in its spring colour scheme.
The leafhopper is one of my favourites who always reminds me of a harlequin ... cercopis vulnerata(?). i love the two simple eyes that are visible.
All in all a good couple of hours. All with the 1DX and Sigma 180 in natural light and handheld.
