Big rabbits? Those would be jack rabbits instead of the more typical cottontails. I agree- they ARE big. Among the differences- jacks live entirely above ground and cottontails burrow.
Not to mention a certain amount of radioactive genetic material. When I say big, I mean HUGE! I was standing guard duty one morning at dawn and I heard this sound coming from behind me. It sounded like a horse, when I turned, it saw me and veered off to the side. Had it hit me, it would have knocked me out cold. That's how big it was.....
