I am planning going to Israel and I decided to have a tour say 13 days. any recommendations which tour company is good overall? I am not looking for luxury stuff, just have a decent and clean hotels. Religious or regular tour doesnt matter much.
Have you thought about a travel agent? Contrary to popular belief, most don't cost more than making your own arrangements. From the East Coast it takes 11 hours by plane. That's a serious commitment, and you don't want to rinky-dink it up by figuring out what you want to do and see when you land. BTW: I have some friends who tried to go to Israel last week, but the airline they booked was on strike. It's settled now, but those kind of things can cost you time, money, and inconvenience.
