p.1 #1 · Corvallis Engagement session :: Meg & Matt
We started off on the Oregon State University campus (bride's alma mater), and then got inside the school where the couple met in the 8th grade. Very fun time, and an easy couple to photograph (they really enjoy being with each other!)
This is my first year of doing photography as a side business. I'm hoping to post a few engagement sessions and upcoming weddings to get some feedback - always looking to improve!

Hmm... not so sure why you haven't received any feedback. You're nice, right?
1. It's good. They're in the shadows surrounded by colorful foliage in the sunlight, so they don't have as much pop as I'd like. 2 just doesn't work for me -- throw an iris blur on it and it might become interesting. I like 3, and 4 is cute. 5, I don't get/understand. 6, good concept, but for one, the top of his head getting lost in the highlights of the sky just doesn't work for me. 7 and 8 are okay. 9, I think you could have been a little more creative here. 10-11-12-13-14 and 16 are all solid, really like these shots! 15, not so much. The boring sky really doesn't help. Throw some dramatic clouds in there and the image will be greatly improved just for that.

really fun set, I like how you lit the hallway with the lockers, very creative idea. I think you did well. in #5 it sort of looks like she is riding his leg, would have been better if her back leg was behind her, that was the only thing that stood out that looked a bit odd.

Some of these poses don't work for me, but they are so happy that I don't care. They are smiling, and clearly enjoying themselves, which means that you did your job and you did it well.
My only nitpick? #8 looks a little blown out to me and her body is in a weird position. Fix that and they're all great.
