There was a thread with many responses and some complaints about some companies in the wedding forum within the past 6 months or so. I don't have time to look it up but I'm sure you could find it.
HI,
I realize that this is quite late but what ever.
I own a small promotional products company and am part of a network called Proforma. www.proforma.com. I would recommend you consider talking to one of us and I am sure that there are dealers in the San Jose area.
Most any of us are willing to work with small companies or individual's to help with their marketing. One of my suppliers currently does a 1 gb for under $8.00 and a minimum order of 25. I can help ypu find someone local to you if you are interested.
We act as consultants more than just selling you a pen or coffee mug etc. Our prices are as good as a web site and we would be local to you and will sit down with you or talk on the phone to try to help.
WHCC also offers them for around $18 - $22 without a case. Pretty straight forward as you use their ROES system to order them. Certainly not as nice as some of the others listed, but they are a great company and deliver on their promises. You can order just one so you don't have to maintain an inventory. Pretty fast delivery too.
Yes been buying these up as they go on sale at various outlets for delivery of "big" files and jobs...Most clients don't have a CD/DVD anymore.
I like mine to be metal key type, USB 3.0, 16-32GB with my company logo and phone# on them
Been having trouble finding that, but I keep checking with all the usual suspects. For now just get them unbranded for cheap when they go on sale.
The USB 3.0 is a big problem, as its silly to deliver 20GB's of files to a client but its on USB 2.0 and takes me and them 20mins to transfer Still better than CD/DVD I guess, except DVD's are pennies and these things cost $5-$15 each
