Quick comparison I found helpful. Personally I couldn't live with only 1/4000th sec SS,
the poor battery life and tunnel VF. Great sensor but...having run over 200K shots thru
D7K's in the last 2 1/2 years I might be a tad biased. GL to you!
IQ is only part of the decision. The D7000 is more capable and works with shaft-drive AF lenses, not just AF-S/AF-I lenses. The lack of dual control dials makes the D5200 a non-starter for me at least.
