p.1 #1 · AcuteB w/ two heads!

Looks like this feature is close to arrival: B&H has the cable listed for $298. For those who don't know, the cable is a Y-splitter, allowing the energy to be shared by two AcuteB heads. Pros: two light sources on location, less weight than two packs, lowest energy setting (per head) of 4½J. Cons: symmetric distribution only, total energy remains 600J and 85W total modelling, more temptation to give Profoto all your money.

Me likey.

Details at Profoto/B&H web sites.

P.S. Seems like more than one splitter could be used. The mind boggles.

That is pretty cool. Tbh though up until now I've been using a speedlight as a second light when I need it (usually as a bare accent light) and it works pretty well, most people have speedlight, variable power and no cables all over the place.

Not sure how much I'd use two heads at the exact same power. I guess it would be nice to use on seamless. You could pack nd gels.
