Like the title says has anyone ever won B&H Photos $250 monthly gift drawing? I've been ordering from them for years and most of the time I fill out the survey yet I've never once won. I realize their customer base is widespread, but so is the FM user base so perhaps someone can verify that this is a real drawing and not some silly scam to collect data.
You're a pretty sceptical fellow, Bubbles. I see no reason to doubt B&H. If you really need to get to the bottom of this, why not send a PM to "henryp".
Will you issue an apology if Henry clears it up for you?
P.S. Fred will probably delete this thread - rightly so!
If I wanted to be rude. I would have surmised that your previous post was alluding to your intent of reporting this thread to Fred like a little school girl!
Why would you think it was a scam just because you haven't won? The odds of anyone winning are astronomical. It's just a long-standing B&H promotion that might encourage some to buy more stuff, more often. $250 is kind of a lame prize anyway. Their used department made more than that on me in one in one quick transaction. BTW: If you have ordered from them in the past they have all the data they need.
Considering how many sales orders B&H processes every month, the chances of winning must be rather low. $3000 per annum is a small promotional expense to them, so it would be rather foolish not to pay out. That being said, stranger things have happened.
Of course statistically it is most likely not worth one's time to participate, in the same way as a state lottery.
They hand out only 12 per year and you haven't won, so you think it might be a scam?
And then the assumption is that mentioning this ridiculous theory will be deleted because B&H is a partner and FM will cover up for them. and not because it's just insulting and silly?
Your tinfoil hat is on too tight. It's cutting off circulation to your brain.

Because both B&H and the FM forum are, in reality, controlled by the Illuminati.

EBH
Statistically you've probably got a better chance of winning the $250 gift card vs. the state lottery. With that said it would still be interesting if B&H posted the numbers so we could figure out our odds.

Okay. I can confirm it's a real drawing and not some silly scam to collect data. Once you've placed an order with us you've already provided the data we'd want to collect if this was a silly scam.
