Planning to do some camping this year and need a way to recharge batteries on the road and without 110V.
Could not find an Auto adapter charger for my Canon 5d-mk3. Any suggestions?
I am also looking for one for my Toshiba Laptop. But in this case, I can find listings but I need to figure out the exact model number. Its a Latitude, but Toshiba has dozens of Latitudes and mine does not have any other ID on the case.
I can live without the laptop when the battery dies, but not the camera. I carry three batteries, which is about good for three days.
There are many solutions but to me the obvious is to get a 12 VDC to 110 converter for the car. I used to use it a lot when the kids were young so they can play with their laptops in the car when we were on road trips. They are great for chargers with 110 plugs.
Thanks, I did find a Pearstone charger that has a DC adaptor built in, but I never thought of an AC to DC adaptor, solves two problems. I will check it out.
Those AC to dc inverters waste engery and can suck down a car battery fast, as long as the engine is running should be ok. I use a charger from Sterlingtek and can run it much longer without draining the source battery. http://sterlingtek.com/dz14-canon-lc-e6-cbc-e6-charger-for-lp-e6.html
