Ages since I've been up that way, Edd, but you have got the Rhein to the West and the Black Forest to the South. Strasbourg is just a blast down the Autobahn, what particularly were you interested in?
...a sign of Spring, the same Black Kite looking for a nest site the day before through the fog. Just 400mm out my window, so I hope he finds a place I can watch him/her the whole brooding season. I've got Red and Black Kites, Boussard, falcons and some I'm-not-sures cruising around but so far none nesting in sight, think the Ravens keep them at bay.
