p.1 #1 · Any no-name transmitters for pack systems?
Hi guys,
Due to the nature of my work (still life), I've been using a sync cord from my camera to my Speedotron pack as there isn't heavy foot traffic or lots of people moving about on set. The cord is fraying, and instead of replacing it, I'm considering going wireless.
I don't want to drop bills on a Pocket Wizard set just yet, and was wondering if any of those oversees poppers would do the trick. I use a Canon camera system. Note, the Speedo pack has a household female sync-socket, so I'll need the option of sending a 6" sync cord from the wireless receiver into the pack itself.
If so, which set is the cheapest and will do the job?

Hi John,
You might check out Phottix Strato II's. I have several pairs and have been pleased with their reliability. They come with a bunch of little cables, including one with 1/8" male to male PC sync w/ threaded thingy.
