Heloo nikon-eers,
quick question about a flash unit. i now own a sb700. was interested in buying the Yongnuo YN560EX as a 2nd flash. I believe i can trigger it with my SB700 in wireless commander mode. However oneBay there are too many stores that sell this stuff which im sure some are scams or do not offer a 1 year i saw posted.
Can anyone who has bought a Yongnuo Flash advice me which is the safest store to buy from. I will list some websites.
Thanks in advance for any replies.
I'd say the yongnuostore link you provided also looks like the direct store.
A year and a half ago I opted for the YN560II and it plays well with my Nikon flashes in S2 slave mode for TTL triggering. They just don't shut off like a dedicated TTL speedlight does so you will need to set the power setting on the flash. Keep in mind that TTL gets fooled and unless you are doing gun and run type shots, manual will give you more consistent results. I bought mine from here http://stores.ebay.com/hkyongnuophotoequipment is direct from Yongnuo.
Thanks for the reply, yes i use mostly dialed-in flash settings, but i also use TTL when the need arises so its nice to have the 2nd flash capable of doing it...have a fab day...peace
