As to the reds in this image... I admit that I really struggled with them and I'm still not sure if I got it right. I have three calibrated monitors across two computers and on one monitor is looks good to me, the other is too flat, the other is, you guessed it, too red. I'm really grateful for the feedback - one of the reasons I posted here was to see everyone's reaction and comments - I just can't decide if I got it right or not! (in fact, I haven't even posted the "final" image on my website yet)
Also, this one does have more of an HDR look than I typically like to do (it's blended though - no HDR software). However, when I tone it down it looks too flat. This image has been a handful! Keep all the comments and advice coming - you'll never upset me with constructive feedback
Wall Hanger .. You may want to cull out the branch on the right near the lighthouse.
To the average folks (public) who view an image like this, have no idea what effort went into it.
I think most of us here fill your pain of being soaked and having to make a 5 hr drive. Surprisingly, you did not mention catching a cold because of your effort.
Seascape, lighthouse, what's more to love!.
This is a great image and its' "yours"
I love working the coast for dynamic scenes like this and you have raised the bar.
Thanks for posting
