Very nice work Chris, I think these are cool looking little birds and you did a great job on them. I have no idea how he landed in 3 and so on Skillful little guy! These are all well presented, really nice job. The landscape closer is a beauty, what a wonderful looking spot. To me it's exotic to you it's probably the "the regular haunt"
Love the location image Chris, beautiful spot and nice composition.
These birds are so cool, Martin used to post some lovely pics of them and you have done very well in this set.
1 and 3 are my favorites, but enjoyed all of them.

What a beautiful bird Chris...I'm not sure I would have thought about the "plume" coming from the top of the bird's head hadn't you not mentioned it. Glad you posted it...these are beautiful birds and very well presented. It's also very cool (no pun intended) to see the environment and what you must have gone through to get the shots.
Eric
Thank you Eric. When I arrived at the location the light wasn't there yet. So I took some "cold" landscape images.
About one hour later the sky opened up and by the time I left there was blue sky and many many people.

A good series, Chris.
I love the last three of the blue tit, but I can't figure out what it's doing. There doesn't look to be anything edible where it's concentrating.
The last shot is also well done. Plus, I like looking at the overall scene where you were shooting.
Charlie
Thank you Charlie. I'm not sure what they are doing in the reed. There must be something they like in there.
Probably spiders or insects.

Very good job exposing these, Chris. You got some lovely detail in all of them
I like #3 best and I wonder how it would look in a vertical format
