It has been reported. LV only shows center of the frame, you cannot scroll the window.
Center-only LV is the result from Leica focus group sessions. Purists objected to the convenience and versatility of any kind of digital LV. This is the best compromise Leica could come up with.
Rumour has it there will be a cheat code to activate scrolling in magnified LV.

As silly as it sounds, it could be possible.
I guess "purists" also objected to any kind of processor update,
that's why it's the same, 6 years old chip inside...
What else did they object to?
