25p frame rate support announced for the Canon EOS-1D C

A Service upgrade has been announced for the Canon EOS-1D C Cinema EOS Camera, incorporating support for 25p video recording frame rate at the camera’s maximum 4K resolution.

"This Service Upgrade is scheduled to be available free of charge. A further announcement will be made in April 2013, when the availability date for this service upgrade has been finalized."

24p is used primarily in the US and CA. The EU and most of the rest of the world uses 25p.

24p is just as likely to be used anywhere in the world. 30p is primarily used in US and Canada.
