I envy your trip.
But not standing outside to get these. How cold was it?
1. My pick of the three. Nicely detailed, says cold, snow-caked well. At first glance I thought it might be a blue-toned monochrome until I saw the hide. I'd clone out the vertical object just above and behind the head. BTW, I like the frame but find it slightly distracting on this image.
2. Great pose, nice detail. Maybe a tad over-sharpened?
Can you get any detail back in the snow?
3. A bit soft. Heavy crop? Probably would be good on canvas. Couple of hints of objects seemingly in the sky. Since it is so empty I would clone them out.
Scott
Thanks, Scott.. The temp. was around zero, maybe a little warmer; Wind gust of 30MPH; Heavy snow that produced near whiteout conditions. I removed the frame and "Object" from image one; I am posting #2 again. without frame and no sharpening (except, in-camera). Sharpening is one of my nemesis'. The image is about a 50% crop. Coyote was probably a 1/4 mile away. I was attempting to handhold the 500 F4 IS. Again, thank you.. Jim
