You've made use of the grain, somehow the grain doesn't distort the pictures but adds more to them. Really nice. My fav is the first one

Way to be on your game Herb, these owls are simply beautiful birds. BG color has a chilling feel to it and presents the warmth of 'Barney' very nicely.
Catchlights don't look quite right to me, a little to pinpoint intense perhaps, some slightly out of align IMO but the addition of them does add more

This has to be one of my favorite Owls, very cool Herb!
