I bought my original D800 on 3/22/2012
So they have been out 10 months now. Just the natural price adjustment on obsolete gear!

The pixel density and AF system does make it a good BIF camera.

I've owned a D600, D800 and D800E and I've never seen a green tint problem.

Mine was 2399 refurbished from Cameta. 28 clicks on the shutter. It came with everything a new one has, except focus problems and LCD tint.

I figure each click saved me about 20 bucks.

What does the green tint look like? Not saying the problem doesn't exist but should I look harder to find it? I have both bodies and haven't noticed it. Is it obvious, like I would know instantly? Maybe I'm colorblind... My D800e is Sn# 0003## and a pretty low number but has no issues... I think since it's so low it was probably hand crafted...
