Love way you composed this one Aaron! Great light quality.
The texture on the left leads my eyes to the top to the dunes, starry skies and moving clouds. Perfect!

@heinz - cant scout and come back to these unless it's days in between. b/c there needs to be twilight light going, which is only about 30min after sunset. just had a general idea of what i needed and then had to find the right lines to make it all work

Maybe I'm too used to seeing orange sand color in DV, but the colors in this twilight shot seem 'off' to me.

Nothing off about the colors...just need the right twilight. Mix of warm and purple/pink that casts over everything. Yummy
