I went to your web site - I take it you are leading and organizing a photo safari - I am looking for a safari for 2014 in the September time frame - do you think that far ahead ? we are in the planning stage right now looking for options -
what is the advantage of the April time frame you are taking this year?

Hey Kirk, thanks for the kind comments. Yea, maybe I should have stuck with the vibrant and colorful original with all it's verdant glory........but nooooooo.

Thanks for kind comment Marcy. It's never too early to start planning, and yes - I have safaris planned into 2014. April is my favorite time for many reasons, a few are: "way less people" - you have the landscape and wildlife to yourself much of the time, lower costs, it's beautifully green and flowering.....and with far more interesting skies and light - as opposed to the incessant blue skies and harsh days of the dry season. Yes, more chance of rain, but typically just afternoon showers on some days - which I love because they often produce dramatic photo-ops. That all said - you'll have a fantastic adventure any time of year in the Serengeti.....you just gotta go!
