Awesome set buddy. I'm already in trouble with the amount of time I spent on birding and photography. And you probably spent more than twice the amount of time on it in comparison to me. You are in deeper trouble than I, I guess ...

I don't know Conrad, your shooting schedule seems more like my work schedule I have the potential to shoot about 8 days a month, factor in the weather and that there is house to maintain I honestly shoot about 3-5 days a month so my honey is happy when I get to go out and do what I prefer to be doing
Now about your images...................
#4 for the wonderful lighting
#5 for that awesome pair and great color harmony
#8 for that wonderful bokeh and smooooothness
#10 just a darn fine shot that it is
#15 and #16 for the pure poetry in pose
#17 for all the glamour a Wood Duck could possibly offer
Some very nice memorable images Conrad, and not a single floral to ruin it either

I'm sorry about how little you get to shoot Karl. Man I'd die shooting 3-5 days a month! Thank you for the kind words about my photos. I'll try to do better next time! Might even throw a flower in there someplace

Super set for the dedication Conrad. Lusi does not shoot much anymore yet she is super supportive.
Hear is one she took of me back when she was active with her SLR
While Lusi is not behind the camera that much anymore she is my marketing person and plans our great excursions. She is also my best critic and just as happy to say ick as sweet as she knows I appreciate the honest feedback.

great set man! actually my better 1/3 prefers me to be out of the house so she and the little one (the other 1/3) don't feel guilty about spending more time at the Mall! lol

Too many amazing shots here to pick just one. THe barn owl is spectacular, but I love the laz and the double waxwings. Great stuff, and I agree, I do feel a little sorry for all the people that have to put up with us crazy photogs/bird nuts!

Conrad, what a great set of images and a super tribute to our loved ones.
Remains me that I didn't spend money on a photographic tool/equipment for far too long.
