These are super captures Mark. You might want to back off the sharpening a bit. Your exposures are spot on.
It is great to see these wonderful birds recovering. It is a 30 minute drive up the Hudson from NYC to find lots of them and there a joy to see.

Thanks Morris,
I'm flattered, point well taken on the sharpening. Sometimes I don't pick up on it on the laptop.
I do spend a lot of time down your way for business obligations but don't have time to shoot.
My upstate is a lot closer to Canada than your home town, so pretty rare here.
Always appreciate your input,
Mark

Last one for me-but they're all nice. It blows my mind that in the mid 80s I was reading books that said you were lucky to see one bald eagle in your life in the lower 48, and now I see one on my way to work more days than not. They've come a long way, now to get the peregrines recovered to the same degree.
Thanks,
I know what you're saying, never saw any here until the last few years.
Just started seeing some Peregrines...

Yikes Mark, the first one just jumped out of the monitor!!! Excellent set Mark, some super BE work!! It is indeed amazing that these guys are so numerous in so many places now

Thanks Tim,
I was real excited for the intense action, usually have to travel for that.
These are awesome. I disagree about the over-sharpening comment, I think that it is a striking effect -- particularly on the first shot, with the waves beneath. That shot has really great depth.
