Interesting set. Buffleheads are the most challenging ducks to shoot in my (limited) experience. They are small divers, and tend to congregate in deeper water well away from the shore. Because of their small size you need to get closer, but that is harder than with most other ducks. The plumage on the males is challenging to expose well - bright white mixed with deep purple hues.
