When was that bridge built? It certainly wasn't there the last time that I visited (which, when I come to think of it, was 15 years ago).
I was wracking my brain trying to work out where the first few shots could have been taken from to get that perspective on the dam! Duh - from the huge bridge, you fool!

For a number of years I had a contract in Western WA that required me to drive there and back (from southern Arizona) 3 - 6 times a year. Next to the pestilence that is Vegas and the abomination that is Phoenix, the 45 minute creep down to the dam and crawl back up was the most irritating thing about the trip. I watched the bridge project over the years and assumed that it would be like the pyramids: not in my lifetime.
I dropped the job about 3 years ago so am stunned to see these beautiful pix of a functioning bridge. Stunning shots by the OP and I appreciate adamx12's view. Tis a thing of amazing form sculpted utterly by function.

I saw the bridge last year after thanksgiving, it's quite the presence. My whole family was scared to go walk across it. Shot this from the other side.

You mean they let you walk across the bridge!
Yup.. go search youtube for videos. I took the tour inside the dam and you definitely want to avoid the crowds and summer heat. I went a few days after thanksgiving and the crowds were really small so shooting inside was easy with few people in the shots.
This was a tunnel view from about the center of the dam
