Love the texture of the canvas! A real background or an example of your PP wizardry? The horizontal has an more relaxed feel - I guess a product of the negative space. The vertical is more intense - you can't ignore her... Both are beautiful, and goes to show the power of a good crop... So nice to see you back - really missed your images! Thanks for including lighting and lens info as part of the original post! Happy 2013!
Thank you all! I appreciate the comments very much! I am excited to continue photographing her as she grows. I did her first photo session when she was just 5 years old and she's always been fun to work with. Here's an a few old photos from my first session with her (don't judge too harshly, these were from 2009 shortly after I opened my business to the public)...
WOW!! Absolutely LOVE the first set Lisa!! Beautiful little girl and the eyes just draw you in!! You have come a long way since 2009!! Keep up the GREAT work!
I honestly don't know of anyone who does portraits any better, you truly capture the person's soul. These are only about a 15 on a 10 scale. As always superb work and good to see you here.
Lisa, these are all excellent shots and the subject is quite marvelous, but the last one (#8) really jumped out at me. Just another in-the-window shot? Nope, you really put this one together nicely.
