Last week I loaned my son my T2i and the 70-200 for a trip to the Wild Animal Park in San Diego, usually he shoots with the G10 with a lot of grumbling after he presses the shutter.
The night before our trip I gave him a basic tutorial on how to unlock the ballhead, mount the camera, zoom in/out, shutter etc. I was pleasantly surprised the next day when he remembered it all and not only that, he also carried/used the tripod, camera and the camera bag on his own all day.
I am thinking you and your son should switch camera's....
He did a super job! That's so cool that he remembered what you told him, and how cool to see him so serious as he takes a shot. Great times and great memories for both you and him.
Keep him going! Those are soom impressive images, sharp, pleasantly placed images and amazing action grabs, apparently you tought him 'burst mode' already
I can tell that you are one proud daddy, and for very good reason, the shots are superb. My little guy @ 4.5 already wants to go see "Birds" with me when I go to a local bird hangout.
Sunny, that's pretty impressive regardless of your son's age. I've got a son who is a photographer and spending days shooting with him are so special....whether its tossing a ball or shooting together those are days that I have treasured for the last 15 years.
Eric
You have taught him well. What a fantastic set of shots. He should be very proud of these . So very special that you have something to share . Glad you showed us some pictures of him as well.
