Hi Everyone,

I received a set of hard edge grad ND’s for Christmas and noticed that unlike the reverse grad I also received the split from Dark to light is not in the middle of the filter, more like 1/3 to 2/5’s from the clear edge.

Is this normal? I would have expected an even amount of clear/dark in order to give the most flexible positioning. The filters are 85mm x 110mm so should be long enough to move up and down a fair amount.

my 100x150 Lee Hard Grads have the transition centered. I like it, because it lets me use the dark end as a solid ND filter!

The ones I have are centered. Mine are B+W

Thanks Travis, 3Iron, thats what i expected.

These are being returned for other reasons, but i think I'll go for a refund and maybe get a different brand instead.

Does B+W make square filters or are referring to round ones?
