Very cool shot, and interesting looking Kingfisher. they are my nemisis bird though. Never have been able to get a good shot of one. they are so hard to get close to.

Hi Mark, got few shots while hovering above water. I preferred this over the others due to the wingspread and the back lighting though the wings. Glad you like it.
Hey! I like the 1/3 positioning of the bird, works much better than if it had been in the center and I really like the plain background because it gives attention to the bird
