Great examples from your card full Tim!! What a day! I love #1, so much for shooting white birds at high noon, aye? (I threw in the aye to throw folks off ).
Thanks again for the great day, inviting me along, answering my questions, chimping at the right times and offering suggests on comps! Here's an "I'm buying you a couple IOU". Sorry if I got in front of any of your shots, with my puny 500 I need to be 37.5% closer than you to have the same FoV.
Here's a shot I got of you with my pocket camera, the man at work (or we should say play). This kind of reminds me of Wilson on Tool Time, you never saw his whole face. Looks like I may have oversharpened the grass.

Great shots and the IQ is great with that TC. I like both, but it is too bad his/hers eyes were not more open. I tried a Kenko Pro awhile back on my 7D with my 400 5.6 and I did not like what I got. I am debating on getting a Canon mkIII TC to use with my 400 5.6 and 1D mark iv, but I am a little hesitant to pull the trigger. I may just get one and see though and return if I hate it.
Thanks for the good words. They tend to sleep during the day so getting wide open eyes isn't easy unless you do something to harass them. PM sent about TC's.
