p.2 #1 · 5D mkiii refurbished for $2239 from Canon

My new 5DIII arrived yesterday...the thing is completely spotless. I took one photo, and the filename was like 40 or so...which would make me think the thing has about 40 actuations on it. Not too shabby

I'm certain that is brand new.... I don't believe I've ever gotten a new camera that read 0.

I have never actually paid attention before. Well, lol...more accurately, this is actually only the second new camera I have ever owned (my other 5D3 was the first), and I never thought to check. It would not surprise me at all if it was completely new.

I believe there's a software program that tells the number of actuations.

Mine came yesterdya, has a distinct mildew smell when pressed up against my nose. Anyone else? It's spotless, but It doens't smell new.
