He's spoke about not liking long lenses much because it often removes the context from the scene. I can relate, I'm quite happy with 85mm most of the day as my longest. This isn't so abnormal.

Like this shot here did NOT need ot be shot with a 16-35, (looks that way anyway). The foreheads. Grandma's HUGE hands. Yuck man. 35L would have suited so much better. I'm convinced I'd have tossed this shot. Certainly wouldn't have bloggged it.
