p.1 #1 · How to manage circular filters in the field?
so i have a few filters. mostly ND's in the 77 and 72mm sizes, a Cpol in each size and a random assortment of circular grad ND's and other stuff in the same sizes.
most are B+W brand and ive gotten tired of lugging around those clear cases and having them end up getting all jumbled up in the bottom of my bag. how do you manage filters in the field?
when i think of the perfect thing to manage these filters it would be a thin zippered binder with pages of inserts that could hold different sizes of filters. kinda like a baseball card holder if you know what it mean...
p.1 #6 · How to manage circular filters in the field?
I have a small, slighty rectangular, compartment in my camera bag. I keep the B+W in their clear cases and store them on their side. I have a roll of sticky labels left over from my slide labeling days. I write the name of the filter on the label and attach them to the sides of the filter cases. I can grab the correct filter the first time as I keep the labeled side up and the filters don't have enough room to fall over.
