Putting aside the sensor size talk there are some amazing images in here.

My personal favourites from the posters so far:

bobbytan: Image #4 in post #1 ... awesome capture of architecture.

snapsy: image #2 in post #2 .... very nice moody b&w image

jman13: image #1 & #5 in post #3 .... great bokeh and detail in the leaf shot (And nice framing) and just awesome light in the pic with the little girl.

rji2goleez: image #3 in post #4 ... awesome light and there is a certain "busy-ness" in the middle of the frame that is complimented with a simplicity in the top and bottom. I really like it.

wilbus: image #4 in post #6: Love everything about that shot.

dkimiles1: image #3 & #4 in post#3 on page 2 .... I love image #3. Creamy bokeh, great framing, the tone of colour in the image, the smile from the little girl... it all just works! the night shot is almost under-stated IMO and not overdone. It looks natural.

Thanks Man! 'Preciate the feedback.

The night shot - apart from a slight WB adjustment, is straight out of camera - seriously - pany 20mm f/1.7 at f/1.7. The little girl is one of my personal favorites - Oly 45mm. I liked the lobster roll too, that photo will always remind me of Boston :-)

I won't be giving up my 5D3 or my 1Ds2 anytime soon, but I LOVE the OM-D!

Limit Six, eh Bobby? OK, here are two more.

The first is a model I shot a few months ago under continuous lighting, the second is my wife and me on our 10th anniversary to the day in the very place where we got married in 2002, in Santorini....

I do like all your pictures, Darren ... and you look like a lovely couple! Santorini, huh? My wife has been nagging me to take her there. Someday. I will be spending 2 weeks in Italy in exactly a month's time, with some photographer friends - so that should be lots of fun.

BTW if you don't already have the 75/1.8 you need to get one! It's my favorite lens ... mostly because of the way it knocks out the background ... very much like a fast 35mm/DSLR lens.

Bobby, I do have the 75mm f/1.8 it's amazing. In fact, I was the one who started the thread about "how sharp is the Oly 75mm f/1.8 really?" You had put up a ton of images on that thread. Love that lens!

Ah k, I thought that night shot was pretty natural looking. Oly 45mm lens will be mine for sure when I get my OM-D.

Really nice shot from Santorini... Its one of my places to visit on the to-do list for sure someday.

Got my wife one of those new columbia coats with electric heaters as her early new mommy gift (still a few months left). Took it out for a spin to see if the heating helps. She's one of those people who can't stand any amount of cold weather.

The coat seems to work cause she's really happy in this photo. Normally she would be running for a star bucks to get hot drink.

Good thing we have a best of....becuase I haven't been shooting at all lately. Wow, I didn't realize how I have pretty much used my OM-D as a portrait only camera. I have a ton of priceless family pics, but will throw in some non-portrait stuff as well for filler

Yup ... the 25/45/75 is the Holy Trinity of mFT lenses. Add the 12/2 and you have quite a formidable set, although I opted for the 7-14 instead because of the range - and the IQ is almost as good as the 12/2.

^^^ those look great Chemamar. Image #2 & #3 are just pure WIN. Great portrait that image #2 is!

vvvv Yeah it looks that way. Great set of primes. The O12 looks like a great lens as well to have your entire range covered with some pretty awesome primes. Great fast lenses to have for video too I bet. I wonder if Oly will come out with a large aperture 25mm lens to compete with the PL 25mm some day.
