p.3 #1 · 24L MKII no longer loved?

I love 24mm for landscape and that's about all. Dislike it for general walk around, much preferring 35mm.

I have to admit, I’m using my 24L II less often since arrival of the 24-70L II, but is no way I’m going to part with my 24L II because of the 24-70L II. It is a great lens and the only lens would replace it is 24L III

Don't see how you can part with it since there are so many up for sale. It's a great lens no doubt about it but I think mine will be collecting lots of dust thanks to the 24-70 MKII

What I don't see written is that the 24L II still focuses faster IMO than any of the zooms. The 24-70 is also too unwieldily for me to shoot what I normally do: dogs. Kind of specialized but I only use my 24-70 (not II) when I have to... never because I want to.

Don't buy the MKII or you may not use your 24L any longer for dogs
