Good stuff, Tim.
One of the interesting things about still photography is that it often shows us the complicated and awkward-looking movements birds go through to take off- or land (i.e. #2).

I feel your pain Brian. Few things piss me off more than patiently working a bird only to have some morons scare it off

And yes there are many photographers putting the snowies in the air just to get the shot, its infuriating.

If it could only talk

I would bet that it was difficult to get used to how light it is compared to what you are used to. Those big teles do tend to draw a crowd and some pretty hilarious comments

Looks like you two picked up right where you left off............making good memories buddy

Great set, Tim. I like the pose on 2 as well. I am so impressed at the sharpness of #4. Wow, makes me rethink getting that lens. My 100-400 is so slow focussing. Hope your weather clears. We've had a lot of rain here too.
