Looks very inviting. Did you do some light painting in the snow? Any tech details you could share?
It's all very basic, and all I found the time to arrange while the Christmas dinner was preparing: a 15 sec exposure at f/7.1 (ISO 500) with a 24L on a 5DIII - all available light. The light streaks you see down to the right are embers from the bonfire carried by wind.
Lovely start to the seasonal thread. Thanks for starting the winter theme (we've had snow here since November 10th!). I posted a series of these shots elsewhere but this is a new image to start me off in this thread. The little guy is Tuck seen here wrestling with his patient and well-tempered friend Nora. Happy holidays to all...

Oh, and to keep the gear portion of the thread intact, this was captured with a Canon 1Diii and 70-200 2.8ii.
Bob, thanks for the beautiful view of your Ugashik River region.
Will, nice setting for the engaged couple.
onegreatcity, that's a winner for winter, and makes me wish I could meet Tuck and Nora.
Some wonderful shots here already, looking forward to seeing many more as the thread grows!
Well we don't have any snow here and who knows if we'll get any at all this winter? While I'm waiting to find out I'll post a couple of images from Sunday evening in Bath, UK - both shots of Bath Abbey taken with my 7D and Canon EF-S 15-85mm F/3.5-5.6 IS USM.
