If you are used to a D3S then it will be hard to go down to a D800 or any of the semi pro bodies. Take the plunge and get the D4 as others have said.

And the best to you with you health issues. Life is just too short not to shoot with your dream camera.

Many thanks for your kind thoughts. I have only had the camera for a couple of days and only just started to put my settings in. Have done the latest firmware update. Yes it is a lot of money to spend on a camera at my time of life but I have too say it looks and feels fantastic. Yesterday I managed to get in the garden and I shot some images of my cocker spaniel who is jet black in colour and the detail is out of this world.
