I thought my 5D files went to hell when resizing them to max for posting here....nothing like these 6D files though.
Is there a tutorial on the forum for resizing to 750k without losing the IQ? I know it's possible, as this thread demonstrates. The result I'm coming up with with these 6D files hardly does the camera justice...
I'm using DPP, it asks what DPI, I just type in 3000. Should I go lower? Then on re-size I use pixel and change it from app 5K by 3K to 500 by 300 (roughly). This results in a horrible image.
Not that I really know what I'm doing, mind you. Thanks.

High end print quality is 300-600 dpi. 3000 DPI (dots per inch) is far to high, outlawyer.
The 6D's IQ at ISO 12,800 is amazing - about 1 1/2 stops better than the 7D, I would say. Frame rate and writing to the card are slow, but the camera is very usable for basketball if you are patient and don't need to get "the" shot. Modest crop.
Here are some shots from Melbourne's Moomba parade last Monday. It was a very bright and hot day with lots of colour and movement, but the 6D kept up all day.
Fred, absolutely stunning! How 'on earth' did you create this image...wow.
If all the wonderful images before this didn't reveal the 6D's IQ, this image certainly seals it for me. Seems the 6D can shoot most subjects with proper technique, well done everyone...
