It seems that Facebook, which owns Instagram, now states that they can sell or use your Instagram photos in perpetuity without compensation or needing your prior approval. I have never used Instagram very much, but I certainly won't use it any more.

Apparently FB has received a ton of negative feedback today which has prompted one of the Instagram founders to say that they will be "clarifying" the new rules.

But even if you upload to Twitter or some other social media I would think that the new rules would still apply since FB owns Instagram.
