Thanks for the kind words everyone! India has called me back many times over the years. Several years ago I married my wife in a traditional Indian ceremony in her home state of Andhra Pradesh. We now have to young boys that I can't wait to take back for a camel rides and to become more familiar with their mother's upbringing. It will be a real eye opener for them.
This was my sixth trip but the first time I went with the primary intent to take photos. I'll soon add some blog posts that will include information that should be helpful for photographers. 3 hours battling customs in New Delhi who wanted a 30% deposit on my gear ($$$$). 2 hours attempting to leave India with a large strobe battery that had airport security very suspicious. Lessons learned in a land far away...

Wonderful sereis. I enjoyed these immensely! Any reason why #3 is tilted?

I'm pretty sure #3 is straight with the horizon. The men were camped on a gently sloping hillside, if anything the image is tilted in the opposit direction.
Michael, I went on your website after seeing these photos as I really enjoyed them. Your travel work from other countries is very good too!
I hope you don't mind if I give you a bit of a critique though.
I went to your people section and it's like it was made by a different photographer. I think that section drags quality of your work down. IMHO, you should really clean it up(inconsistent editing and cheap looking models) or remove those off your site.
