p.1 #1 · I've been ill with Crohn's but FINALLY posting a NYC wedding :)
Hi guys! It's been so long that I'm probably long forgotten :P but I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis -- which recently has been shown to likely be Crohn's disease. It's been a brutal, painful, nauseous year but at least I was able to shoot a few weddings!

I was lucky enough to have my pal, Nick Nishizaka, back me up in Lindsay's absence (my wife). Here he is allowing me to use him like a test dummy like I normally do with Lindsay :P

First, I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis. My brother was diagnosed 2 years ago so I know very well how much of a horrible, painful, debilitating, and life changing illness it is. I wish you the very best in getting things under control and keeping it that way.

really nice, I enjoyed looking, went back and looked again and again and again. My favourite set thats posted here at the moment.
However..I wouldn't be submitting no 9. Its kinda...er...you know with all of those high rises in the background. Juvenile I know but the image is in my head. Sorry.

I also have Crohn's. I was diagnosed in my mid-30's. It took FOREVER for doctors to figure out what it was. In the meantime myweight dropped from 196lbs to 135lbs (yes, you read that right) in a span of about 7-8 months. I had one surgery in late 1996 and have been healthy ever since (i'm 50 now) and have not used one drug. It's all about avoiding the things that can trigger attacks.
Anyway, don't let all this Crohn's talk take away from an amazing set of images. I've been purposely avoiding image threads, but your title drew me in and I'm glad I looked.
