Damnit, I JUST bought the 24-70 2.8 II at $2299 from B&H. I'm going to try and see if they have a price guarantee. It's frustrating buying something and then the price is $200 less just a couple of days later from the same store

+ 100 ....I called them this morning as soon as I received an email from them outlining the new deals... I explained that I had purchased the 24-70 about 10 days ago - and they immediately offered to refund me the $200. diff...asap.

My wife bought me this 24-70 Sunday night for $2199 and I guess as it shipped they were lowering the price. Perhaps it is worth making a call tomorrow?

Thanks. I sold off both of my 5D MK II bodies a while back and was sorry I didn't keep one, so I ordered a new one with this deal as a backup to my 5D III. My wife even encouraged me to order it so we have one for her to use.
